Stir-Fried Pork with Onion
Sliced pork and softened onion tossed with ketchup, black pepper and sesame oil, savory and lightly sweet.
Pork with onion is one of the quickest stir-fries in the Chinese home kitchen, and the sweetness that caramelizes out of the onion is the whole point of it. The ketchup and sesame oil push it toward a western flavor, which is how many families came to cook it. Fifteen minutes from board to plate.
