Passion Fruit and Orange Cooler

The passion fruit needs a day's notice, since macerating it early lets the fruit and sugar mingle into a syrup and mellows its sharp edge. The tea is brewed strong and poured over a lot of ice, which is the usual summer way to drink jasmine green tea in southern China. The same base works with soda water for a sparkling version, and both are equally common at home.
