Hamburger (American Classic Cheeseburger)
A juicy beef patty with melted cheese, lettuce, tomato and special sauce in a soft bun.
There is no one American hamburger but the argument about it has gone on for over a century, from the vendors at the turn of the last century to the fast food chains that standardised it. The patty is cooked on a flat top and pressed only once, and the bun is expected to be toasted inside. Ask for it any other way and you get it your way, quietly.
