Chin Chin Chin (Nigerian Golden Fried Pastry Strips)

A celebratory fried pastry served at weddings and naming ceremonies, where the dough is kneaded with spice and sugar and cut into flat strips before frying. It is fried pale gold and dusted with cinnamon sugar while still hot so the sugar clings.
